Nestled within the frozen city, the Whisky Ginger is a venue where combatants may prove their talents. Hosting challengers of all skill and technique, one may step to the mats and find themselves a fight. We also offer a bar, for those who enjoy conversation, or a stiff drink.

- Mats fights
To sign up for a fight, approach a member of Dojo Staff to inquire about availability. Fights are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis once the venue opens.Once our allotted MC'd fights are finished, we open the mats for any who want to step up and throw down after-hours. Healers may or may not be available at this point.Please note that all dojo rules still apply even after the MC steps off the mat for the night.

We fight using Grindstone rules. Grindstone Rules:

Rolls are in /random.
Fight text is in /yell.
30 minute timer.
First person to land 3 strikes wins.
Fighters roll for initiative to determine who is attacking first. Whoever rolls higher attacks, and the lower roll defends.
The attacker writes their attempted attack in /yell, and then both combatants roll /random.
If the attacker rolls higher, the attack hits and they score a point. If the defender rolls higher, they dodge, block, or negate the attack and no points are earned.
The defender writes in /yell how they take the damage of the attack, or how they avoid it.
The defender now becomes the attacker, original attacker becomes defender, and it is the second player's turn to attempt an attack.
The fight follows this attack - roll - hit / defend - counterattack pattern until one fighter has earned three points, or until the 30 minute timer runs low (in which case the MC will work with both fighters to end the fight in a timely manner).
We encourage creativity in both your writing, and your characters. Please try and keep the fights grounded, as well as any lore-bending quirks your character might have. Respect your fellow writer, and the wish for things to feel realistic for the setting and fair to both participants.

There is rumor that Yuyu Niah and Pollux Troy may operate a business shrouded in nefarious intent. Do you have a penchant for getting your hands dirty? You can ask, but discretion is.. recommended.Jawn, the main announcer of the venue, owns a treasure shop! Various items and mysteries are uncovered by his adventures to treasure-laden areas. Need something rare, forgotten by the ages? Or perhaps, you are simply curious. He's a welcome and inviting person, who wouldn't mind a question or three- just not when he's shouting.Larian, the bar manager, has talent as a gleaner. Despite his quirky and eccentric ways, he gets the job done. Need something found? Or someone? He's as reliable as he is unpredictable. Dunno how that works.Alma, who coordinates our medbay, knows more than just a suture. She can run circles around you in various topics of aether, areas, and her work as an archon. Perhaps you're the type to pursuit knowledge, for knowledge's sake? Strike up a conversation and be sure to learn something new.

Using Pollux's personal favorite, this drink boasts a ten-year hingan whisky, imported from across the sea. Topped with ginger infused effervescent water, and candied ginger pieces. Strong, smooth, and sure to leave an impact.

Layers of various booze as high as the heavens. Easy enough to drink that you'll find yourself floating in the clouds in no time.

Mezcal, freshly squeezed lime, a blend of herbal liquor, and a dash of health potion. For when you need a pick me up, with enough kick to put you back down again.
